GUERNICA

A Guernica foi pintada por Pablo Picasso em 1937, por ocasião da exposição internacional de Paris. Tem 7,82m de largura por 3,50m de altura, e está exposto no Museo Reina Sofia, em Madrid. Esta tela representa o bombardeamento da pequena cidade de Guernica - país Basco, pelos aviões alemães, que apoiavam as Forças Nacionalistas do General Franco durante a guerra civil espanhola.

Guernica was painted by Pablo Picasso in 1937, for ocasion of the International Exhibition in Paris. Has 7,82 large and 3,50 high, and is currently at the Museo Reina Sofia in MAdrid. This painting represents the bombing of the small city of Guernica - Basque country, by german aviation, supporting the Nationalist Forces from General Franco during the spanish civil war.
